Microphones prices would rise: Lota, Coronel and Tome

This news is the newspaper The Chronicle, Monday, 09 June 2008, p. 04. I found it interesting to share because it affects all of us living in this mining region.

When it was thought that disputes over the high price of diesel had terminated the agreement between truckers and the government, now the soap opera continues, but with other actors: the taxibuseros. They consider that favored only a guild and they were not considered.
"From the day we are losing revenue by 70% only in oil," said bus driver Victor Mendez leader.

For the time already announced price hikes of passage Coronel, Lota and Tome. Last week, the union joined the strike of truck drivers, but ultimately only benefited the latter with the return of 80% of the specific tax to oil.

POSSIBLE UPGRADES:
To make the increase in the passage to the communes identified, they would rise by between one and two hundred pesos. Thus I took the ticket to stay at 700 pesos, while Lota could reach thousand dollars. Regarding Coronel, the fare would rise to 800 pesos. Super expensive!

That seems to you? ... There are several questions that I have in mind, one of them is: Who regulates the price hike of Lota buses? They have already raised the fee several times and it seems that nobody does anything, they forget (all involved in this) that this is one of the poorest districts of the country ... and their service is poor, especially poor treatment for users and how dangerous that turn their careers (at the 'Fast and Furious') to take more passengers (although it should be clear that you can not put everyone to the same bag) ...

:: It is my humble opinion:

:: Tickets (somewhat) related to this::
