Kaka leads march for Jesus in Brazil
Brazilian footballer Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite 'Kaka' led the "March for Jesus, a manifestation of the evangelical church which drew about five million followers in the streets of Sao Paulo, according to organizers.
Watching the news in http://www.icpress.org found a football-related 'Kaká' to whom I greatly admire for their commitment to God and makes public statements of their faith in Jesus:
Italian AC Milan player, who is the most popular parishioner evangelical Reborn in Christ Church, she was spotted on top of one of the 22 trucks equipped with huge speakers through which music was broadcast 'gospel'. Kaka was accompanied by his wife, Caroline Celico, who is in advanced pregnancy.
The best player in the world in 2007 , along with thousands of participants, donned a white shirt with letters in which he could read the name of the event: March for Jesus.
The sixteenth edition of the march ran through several streets of Brazil's largest metropolis and was brightened by dozens of musical performances, religious ceremonies and other activities throughout the day.
Public participation exceeded by nearly a million people to the mobilization of 2007.
The midfielder Kaka is sparing no effort to bear witness to their faith. And not just with words. But also donates part of his salary to his congregation (as any good evangelical), usually celebrated his goals by pointing to heaven to thank God, and even gave his church of Sao Paulo FIFA trophy that recognizes it as best player in the world.
