Ships catch fire!

I do not know if it's just a legend, story or history ... maybe did not happen, but it is said that Hernan Cortes, Spanish conqueror who came to the territories of Tenochtitlan, what is now Mexico City, at the time of landing, ordered burn all the ships that served as a vehicle to get there. His soldiers, sailors, and privateers foremen, asked why he did such a thing, he replied that he wanted to eliminate any possibility of retreat, of cowardice, of repentance, for what was coming (the conquest of Mexican territory), was to be a campaign full of hunger, death and discomfort ...
I found it very important to share this thought with you ...

Morning After Pill How It Works
With a narrow vote of five in favor and four against, the Constitutional Court of Chile decided to ban the distribution of morning-after pill .
According to the newspaper La Tercera , the deciding vote for this failure was Mario Fernandez, a former defense minister of the government of Ricardo Lagos, who would have voted against government regulations.
"To prohibit the morning-after pill in the public system, Chile would be the fifth country in the world, along with the Philippines, Ecuador, Uganda and Costa Rica, in not having, from a land made to 206 countries," explains La Tercera .
The content of the decision remained in reserve until the final conclusions are drawn document
It is interesting to note for example that, while many say categorically that it is not abortive, when describing their mechanisms of action find a series of not so categorical statements, usually in terms of probability, such as "think", " believes "," produce "," act ", etc.
Recently doctors, Sergio Valenzuela, the Clinical Hospital of the University of Chile, Luis Jensen, a gynecologist at the Clinical Hospital of the Catholic University, and Patricio Mena, Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad de Los Andes, have pointed out that studies Chilean scientists on the drug, the pill does not resolve whether or not abortion, mainly because it is animal research.

Pleasing God with our worship
Sometimes we think God is pleased with our "way of worship" whatever, and we have confused the fact WORSHIP with ways of worship, when really there is only one form of worship to God.
In Genesis 4, verse 1 to 4, we see a very interesting event, God as a family, Adam and Eve, conceived two sons, Cain and Abel, and in this story we see that Cain worked the soil, while Abel was working with the cattle. One day brought an offering to offer to God, that was his way of bringing worship, Cain gave an offering of the fruit of the earth, and Abel brought the best of his flock. In verse 5 we see that God is not pleased to Cain's offering of Abel but if you like it, I wonder why? ... Very simple, the ONLY way that God was pleased with an offering was through bloodshed .
Because of Jesus who shed his blood for us we do not have to sacrifice anything, and there was a sacrifice, but this does not mean that God does not continue looking for people to worship him as he wants.
In John 4:23 says that God is seeking true worshipers will worship him in spirit and truth, that is, with his life. Many have made the mistake of thinking that worshiping God is singing very loudly, or leave your hands up for 15 minutes without stopping! We believe that if we do these things God is pleased with us.
In 1 Samuel 15, we see a very sad story, where we can really understand what God wants, and wants us to worship Him ...

One in ten college students are addicted to cybersex
A Castellón University study shows that male students spend a quarter of the time to see sexual content pages. They prefer the chats.
The 8.5 percent of male students at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) in Castellón acknowledge being addicted to cybersex, while only 0.5 percent of female students have recognized this psychological pathology.
Cybersex addiction occurs unevenly among young people of different sexes, since men and women have different motivations when frequenting sex sites on the Internet.
This is explained by the director of the Research Unit on sexuality and AIDS in the UJI, Rafael Ballester.
This unit has conducted research on cybersex addiction, which was presented in 2007, which revealed that university students spend an average of eight hours a week to surf the Internet, of which 0.58 is sex pages.

What is Christmas

There are many concepts and misconceptions about Christmas. Today, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will learn the true biblical meaning of this celebration and the myths that have formed around them.
What is Christmas?
Christmas is the day to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Unfortunately, today, has lost its true meaning, has become a collection of traditions and practices from diverse cultures and nations.
When Jesus was born?
The word of God does not give an exact date, but some studies was approximately the mid-to late October. The true meaning of Christmas is the birth of the Son of God. But what matters is not the day but the event and why we celebrate.
"10Pero the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people: 11 What you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2.10, 11
Is it a sin to celebrate Christmas, put a tree, give gifts?
Celebrating Christmas tree with gifts and not a sin if, in doing so, we never lose sight of their true motive.
Not a sin to celebrate Christmas when we celebrate Jesus' gift is not bad if planted in the right people and if you can afford the gifts without going into debt. In this season God wants to be worshiped as King, He yearns to be adored by his sacrifice on the cross. God wants to be worshiped with the purpose of bringing to life what you can not get. Jesus came to give us life, He is not going to fail.
